Clifford alarms have 2 ways to protect the car from bieng started. They interrupt the starter and the ignition power. When you turn the key on do all your gauges turn on? If you unplug the alarm brain you still wont be able to start the car. You will have to find someone who has the installation documents. Then you will have to rewire the alarm so it has no effect on the car. Clifford doesn't give out ne wireing info for there alarms unless you are an authorized dealer.
